Corten House | Antonio Altarriba

Carpentry: Minimalist Steel

Residential Project - Year 2017

CORTEN HOUSE

  • PROJECT: CORTEN HOUSE

The house is situated on a two-level, elongated but narrow plot.

The CS house opens on the north side towards the views of the Sierra Calderona, while on the east and west side it borders with other plots, leaving the south side unobstructed.

The intention of the project is to relate all the spaces to each other, both externally and internally, including the basement level. To this end, the volumes are distributed around a courtyard that allows the garden to enter the house, making it appear infinite thanks to its visual relationship.

  • ARCHITECT: ANTONIO ALTARRIBA

The direction of the project is by the architecture studio of Antonio Altarriba.

  • LOCATION: TORRE EN CONILL - BETERA

The CS House (Corten House) is a house located in Torre en Conill (Bétera, Valencia).

  • SOLUTIONS: MINIMALIST

Three different minimalist systems are used in the house to enjoy the incredible views. The Schüco ASS 39 PD.NI system is the ideal solution for uninsulated sliding doors in panoramic design. The COR - 60 concealed-leaf system offers a wide range of possibilities in terms of design and functionality.

Finally, this project has also minimalist carpentry OS Sosoares. Dekovent's exclusive aluminium carpentry in the eastern, central and southern area of Spain. It is a high-end carpentry that offers volumes and weights above the average.

In total, the materials used are glass, limestone and Corten steel, all of which are related to each other by means of a similar exploded view.
