EBE AF EI 30 by Secco Sistemi
Fire-resistant doors and windows that are visually consistent with the rest of the building's design.
A cutting-edge solution that combines functionality and aesthetics in the creation of fire-resistant doors and windows.
Innovation in Fire Protection
The EBE 85 AS system is an evolution of the EBE 85 system, a product that combines functionality with aesthetic beauty. This system allows for the creation of large sliding glass walls, where large and heavy doors can alternate with fixed mirrors.
This system is not only an advanced technical component but also a sophisticated component for façades and interior furnishings. Designed to be versatile and flexible, it maintains the excellent performance of the EBE 85 system and is suitable for the interpretation and implementation of the most innovative projects in contemporary architecture.
Components of the EBE AF EI System
The EBE AF EI system is composed of various elements designed to offer optimal fire resistance:
Materials: The system uses painted galvanized steel, polished or satin-finished AISI 316L stainless steel, corten steel, and painted stainless steel. These materials are selected for their heat resistance and durability.
Seals: The internal components, including the seals, are made with specific materials to withstand high temperatures.
Accessories: Each type of partition is equipped with special certified accessories that integrate into the system. Accessories include hinges and handles made with the same materials and finishes as the window frame.
Performance of the EBE AF EI System
The performance of the EBE 30 AF EI system has been tested by top European certification laboratories under the reference standards EN 1634-1.
The system allows for the implementation of a wide range of fire-resistant door and window partitions. Single or double glazing with a thickness of up to 40 mm can be installed.
The system ensures that flames and hot smoke do not pass through the frame (fire resistance E) thanks to the structural profile and double gasket system. The ability to maintain temperature on the non-exposed side to fire (insulation I) is achieved through the use of fire-resistant resins for thermal insulation.
Design of the EBE AF EI System
The EBE AF EI system is designed to harmoniously integrate with the rest of your building. Doors and fixed panels can be manufactured with the same finishes as the other windows in the EBE family, including brass, corten steel, stainless steel, and painted galvanized steel.
The internal and external coplanarity of the EBE AF EI 30 doors, and the fact that the side and central nodes have the same overall dimensions as the EBE 65 system, provide visual coherence to the ensemble.
The profiles placed in front of the glass to fix it are also design elements of the frame, and they are produced in the same finishes as the window frame.
The hinges are designed to better integrate into the window frame, with a slim and minimalist design. The handles, built to withstand fire, are sturdy and offered in the same finishes as the frame.
EB AF EI Finishes
CORTEN STEEL
Corten steel is a type of steel made with a chemical alloy that protects it from atmospheric corrosion. Thanks to this, and its natural and decorative appearance, it is a very versatile material for architects and designers.
BRASS
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, with a proportion of over 50% copper. Brass is common in projects that require high design and aesthetics.
TITANIUM
The titanium finish is achieved through a chemical oxidation process that offers high-quality design and metallic aesthetics.
LACQUERED
The lacquering treatment consists of protecting and painting the surface of the profile with a homogeneous layer of paint. These treatments are carried out with strict respect for the environment, so all paints are lead-free.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is a widely used material in construction due to its hardness and high resistance to corrosion.
